Megint havazik - Snowing again

Ismét leesett 30 centi hó alig egy nap alatt. Ez a tél végre úgy néz ki, mint egy valódi tél, sok hóval, hideggel, fajin. Az utóbbi napokban a lakás festése, polcok és képek helyének fúrása (gépkölcsönzéssel) és általános fészekrakás volt folyamatban, aminek (és sűrű esti programoknak) köszönhetően jó ideig nem jutottam a makettekig. De ma délután végre ismét volt időm. Előbb azonban kérdés: melyik a feleségem autója? :) A makett egyébként iszonyatosan sorjás, rengeteg idő elmegy a csiszolgatással. Viszont a kabin, melyet egyelőre nem akarok a helyére ragasztani, eddig meglepően szépen illeszkedő alkatrészekből áll. Nem akarom elkiabálni persze. A dioráma, mely reméljük első, valóban elkészült diorámám is lesz egyben, téli lesz, ez a legújabb döntésem - viszont így nem lesz nyitott a motortér, sőt egy ponyva lesz rajta, védendő az nagy orosz hidegtől a kis orosz motort.

It was snowing again - 30 cm in a day. This winter looks like a real winter, snow-snow-snow and freezing cold - I like it. As we were painting the flat and later drilling holes for the shelves and pictures (not easy as I had to borrow the machine) and running up and down every evening I couldn't sit down for a few hours of modelling. But today afternoon finally I could continue the Gaz. But first a question: which is my wife's car? :)


Regarding the Gaz: when I do it I feel like watching the Titanic, the Love story, the Death row or such a film, or purely just cleaning&cutting onions. I cry and cry for hours. So badly molded and so many hours of sanding that it's one of my worst modelling experiences in the last few years. The progress for today from the underside:
Also started the cabin - surprisingly good fit and easy assembly. OK, later it also could turn out tricky but now it seems to be all right. I decided to build the cabin but not glue in place, because the interior will be upgraded with some PE and I plan to have a driver in it. Not in the PE. In the cabin :) Anyway, have I mentioned that I changed my mind regarding the setting? I want a winter diorama so I forgot the open engine-room. It will be covered with tarps against the Russian winter. And I hope, this diorama will be finished in real life. Not only in my head like other dioramas before :)
